The Sphinxes
They recall the idea that the master of the house had to build an Egyptian-style monument in memory of the ties of friendship he had with Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
This project not being realized, he nevertheless had two sphinxes sculpted at the entrance to the garden.
The Sphinges are today the emblem of the Hôtel DuPeyrou
